- Dunno about one with an FPU, but I tried Enforcer on my 1230-IV with 8 MB
- last night, and it worked fine. Lawbreaker (a program included in the
- Enforcer archive whose purpose is to cause Enforcer hits) produced four
- Enforcer hits and a report of an alert. I reckon my MMU is working just
- fine.

- Mine bends slightly. This isn't much of a problem for me, as my 1200 is
- currently perched on top of my 500 (a lot more stable than it sounds :-).
- Anyway, the little feet on the 1200 look like they will elevate the
- machine enough to keep the trapdoor from being pressed on by the desk/
- table/whatever. It looks like it's the SIMM slot bending the trapdoor,
- BTW.

- Yes. I made quite sure of this before I sent for mine!
-

-
- No. The chip says something like MC68030RC50... on it.

- One more thing: the manual refers to two jumpers on the Blizzard. By
- default, they are set up to map Kickstart into RAM and not to take
- advantage of 60 ns RAM (at least, that's how mine arrived). Does this
- limit how much I can use the MMU? And should there be only one jumper
- on the board to distribute between the two jumper blocks? And, of course,
- do you reckon I should put the jumper on the other block, in order to regain
- 512 KB of Fast RAM and to make the thing work a little bit faster again? (I
- do have a 60 ns SIMM installed.)
-
- A couple more things, now that I think of them: I get bright blue streaks
- on my screen at boot time (maybe 20% of the width of the screen). Is
- this normal? I don't mind it, really, especially with the boot delay cut
- from ~30 s to nearly nothing!
-
- The thing runs warm, but not too much so: it feels a little bit
- warmer under the trapdoor than my 500 does over the 68000.
-
- Finally, does anyone have any idea when phase 5 hope to release the
- SCSI[-2] module for the 1230-IV?
